River Road closed due to water leaks | Transportation
LA 327 (River Road) from ½ mile south of Brightside Lane, (just south of BREC Farr Park Equestrian Center) driveway, approximately 7/10 of a mile will be CLOSED. This is due to water seepage area along the levee. This closure will be for the duration of the high water period.
No through traffic will be allowed. No permit or oversized loads will be allowed.
DOTD state detour routes will be Skip Bertman Drive on the northern end and Gardere Lane on the southern end of the closure.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution in the area and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
