Would-be robber leaves gas station empty-handed
BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB)- Police are trying to identify a man who tried to rob a Perkins Rd. gas station.
According to reports, the suspect handed a note demanding money to the clerk at the Valero Gas Station in the 7500 block of Perkins Rd.
The clerk ran to the back of the store and the man fled empty-handed.
The suspect is about 5'8", 120 lbs., and is believed to be in his early twenties.
