Fourplex fire causes leaves 5 people homeless
BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB)- Five people
are out of their homes after a fire at a fourplex Thursday afternoon.
The Baton
Rouge Fire Department was called to the building in the 5100 block of
Brightside View around 3:30 p.m.
Firefighters
arrived on the scene to find two of the units engulfed in flames.
The other
two units sustained smoke and water damage.
Damage is
estimated at $175,000.
No injuries
were reported.
The cause
of the fire has not been determined.
The Red
Cross was called in to assist the victims.
