LSU, BRCC Bridge Program kicks off Wednesday | Events
Louisiana State University (LSU) and Baton Rouge Community College (BRCC) are gearing up to welcome their first cohort of students participating in the Tiger Bridge Program, during a day-long orientation to be held on Wednesday, June 26.
Students will spend their morning at LSU and will be transported to BRCC for the afternoon sessions. The agenda will include a tour of the campuses, meeting advisors, an introduction to campus life, and completing the registration process.
Announced at a press conference in March, the Tiger Bridge Program will provide a very unique learning experience. It will allow students who apply to LSU but do not meet the required admissions standards to take courses at BRCC that will transfer to LSU, while residing on LSU’s campus.
The dually enrolled students will have full access to services and amenities on both campuses, including dining facilities, student services, athletic events, and more.
A second orientation is scheduled for Wednesday, July 17. For additional information, visit www.mybrcc.edu.
