Baton Rouge, LA— Baton Rouge will be featured as a kid-friendly vacation destination on Designing Spaces, the popular home improvement show on Lifetime Television on Thursday, March 7th at 6:30 am (CST) as part of a “Kids Spaces” series.
During the segment, Shannon Hurst Lane, a mom, native of Baton Rouge and Louisiana based travel writer takes viewers around town to several fun and interactive attractions for all ages, including the Rural Life Museum, the USS KIDD, the Louisiana State Capitol and Capital Park Museum. Most attractions are free or have nominal entrance fees. Throughout the segment, viewers will hear about the city’s varied dining options, historical charm and educational opportunities in one family-friendly atmosphere.
The shooting was held in early December and was organized by Visit Baton Rouge®.
