Baton Rouge Clinic offering free flu shots with tour | Events

With flu season in full gear with an already record number of cases being reported, Stanocola Clinic is offering free flu shots with a tour of its facility. Stanocola Clinic is located at 16777 Medical Center Drive on the campus of the Ochsner Health Center in Baton Rouge. The clinic is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Every year more than 200,000 are hospitalized for seasonal flu symptoms in the United States.  The flu can affect anyone, but certain groups of the population are more susceptible than others.  Senior citizens, young children and pregnant women are especially at risk.  The fllu can also lead to serious complications ranging from sinus infections to life-threatening pneumonia.

Stanocola Clinic is a full service health clinic. Initially founded as the Stanocola Employees Medical and Hospital Association in 1924, Stanocola Clinic has long been a presence in the Baton Rouge community. Stanocola offers the convenience of same day appointments with many onsite services including primary care, specialists, X-rays mammograms and blood work.
