Rapper Lil Boosie sponsoring Halloween Party Wednesday | Events
Baton Rouge Rapper Lil Boosie is sponsoring a Halloween party for children in Pre-K through fifth grades. It will be held Wednesday, Oct. 31 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the McKinley Alumni Center, 1374 Thomas H. Delpit Drive, in Baton Rouge.
"He won't be there physically, but he's giving it," his cousin Porcha Webb tells 9News Neighborhoods. "He just wanted to do something for the kids just like his back to school and bike giveaway."
The rapper whose real name is Torence Hatch won't be there because he is currently serving an eight-year prison term in Angola on drug charges.
The party will feature a costume contest, refreshments, music, and lots of treats. The event is free and open to the public.
She says she talks to her cousin frequently and he's doing fine.
