Mayor Holden has new administrative officer | Business
Local attorney John J. Price officially started work today as an assistant chief administrative officer for Mayor-President Melvin “Kip” Holden.
Price holds a bachelor’s of science degree with a major in communications from LSU and a juris doctorate degree from the LSU’s Paul M. Hebert Law School. He has practiced law for the past 27 years, and has had his own law practice since 2000. He is a past winner of the Robert Lee Tullis Moot Court competition and a member of the LSU Law School Hall of Fame.
Price is currently chairman of the East Baton Rouge Parish Republican Party, and serves on the State Central Committee of the Louisiana Republican Party. He is a former president of the Five Oaks Estates Homeowners Association. Price is a member of St. George Catholic Church and is active in the Dunham School’s Pawbacker Organization.
Price will work on projects assigned by the mayor.
