Award-Winning Cinema Costumes Coming to LASM | Arts & Culture
BATON ROUGE, LA — Costumes worn by Hollywood's hottest stars are coming to Louisiana Art & Science Museum (LASM), and you can be one of the first to see them on Thursday, May 5, during LASM's First CUT! Opening Night Premiere.
CUT! Costume and the Cinema, a major touring exhibition of 43 exquisitely made movie costumes and accessories, opens to the public Saturday, May 7. More than 30 stars, including Johnny Depp, Ralph Fiennes, Nicole Kidman, Kate Winslet, and Vanessa Redgrave, wore the exhibited costumes in 25 period films, including Pirates of the Caribbean, Sherlock Holmes, The Duchess, The Phantom of the Opera, and Sense and Sensibility.
Lots of red-carpet fun and food and drinks are in store for those attending this fabulous event. Also, for a gift of $250, you can sponsor one or more of the costumes and have your name (or the name of a loved one, friend, or family member) included on a special donor panel in the exhibition area.
For each costume selected, you will receive one ticket to the exclusive First CUT! Opening Night Premiere. For more information about sponsorship opportunities, please contact Pam Sills, LASM's director of development, at (225) 344-5272, ext. 130, or email@example.com.
