Downtown BR streets close for TV show | Arts & Culture

Several streets in downtown Baton Rouge will be closed periodically for the shooting of a television show.
The mayor's office said the TV drama "Breakout Kings" will begin filming in the Baton Rouge area.
Officials said there will be a one-lane closure on Convention Street between 3rd Street and Lafayette Street throughout the day, but traffic will be maintained in the remaining open lane.
There will also be intermittent closures from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on the one-block stretch of 3rd Street between Florida and Convention streets.
The section of Florida Street between 3rd and 4th streets will be subject to intermittent closures from 2:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m., along with a possible one-lane closure during off-peak periods.
And, there will be intermittent closures on the 1000 block of N. 3rd Street at State Capital Avenue from 6 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.
