Cane's opens new restaurant and gives back to vets | Arts & Culture

Local country music singer and Nashville Star finalist David St. Romain joined American Legion veterans in opening a new Raising Cane's restaurant on Veterans' Day.
The new location is located at 8899 Florida Boulevard outside of the Mall at Cortana.
St. Romain sang the national anthem to kick off a ceremony in which Raising Canes announced it would donate 15 percent of net proceeds fro their new location for those who mention the fundraiser on Veterans' Day.
The restaurant chain also presented a $1,000 check to the American Cancer Society. The check was a donation made on behalf of a customer who won the restaurant's Give Back Giveaway promotion.
