Additional Information

At Animal Health Clinic, we know when you place your pet in our hands, you trust us to provide the best possible care. That's why we recommend pre-anesthetic testing prior to placing your pet under anesthesia, which reduces the chances of complications. In doing this, we'll obtain a complete history and perform a detailed physical exam of your pet. A healthy result, while not a guarantee, does provide added peace of mind that anesthetic risk is minimized. In short, pre-anesthetic testing helps us better care for that important part of the family...YOUR PET!

Animal Health Clinic also uses a surgical laser, which has become a very important part of veterinary medicine. The laser is used to improve the overall experience of surgery that was previously treated with a scalpel. The laser provides the surgeon with improved hemostasis, while significantly reducing the pain and swelling.

The benefits of laser therapy are relatively new in the veterinary industry. Animal Health Clinic was quick to adopt the technology as they see a marked improvement in the health of their patients, quickly and free of side effects. MLS Harmony is the most advanced small animal laser on the market. The breakthrough of the multi-wave system offers greater benefit to the patient than any one wavelength alone. Benefits include intense anti-inflammatory and anti-edemic effects, and also strong analgesic effect.

As a result of all of the above, laser therapy provides rapid relief from painful and debilitating conditions, producing a faster recovery time.

Common applications for canines include: acute and chronic otitis, gingivitis, hot spots, arthritis, degenerative joint disease, hip dysplasia, anal glands, degenerative disc disease, lick granulomas.

Common applications for felines include: acute and chronic otitis, sinusitis rhinitis, gingivitis stomatitis, degenerative joint disease, cystitis, wound healing.
