That's why we recommend pre-anesthetic testing prior to placing your pet under anesthesia, which reduces the chances of complications. In doing this, we'll obtain a complete history and perform a detailed physical exam of your pet. A healthy result, while not a guarantee, does provide added peace of mind that anesthetic risk is minimized.
